The Navigator Corporate Philanthropy Program©
Requests for corporate donations are increasing at an incredible rate. Similarly, there
are a number of great paybacks when companies make targeted philanthropic investments
sales, brand recognition and loyalty, productivity and employee morale, employee
recruitment and retention can all be positively impacted by an effective corporate giving
policy and procedures. In a very short time, companies receive a comprehensive plan and
process that ensures they win through giving even when they
say No to a request for support.
Support for Fundraising
Many organizations want to fundraise but are not ready to do so. In order to
assist them in these efforts we offer three levels of support.
- Training some organizations have all the talent and resources to
raise money but they simply do not know how. A number of 1 and 2 day workshops are
available for these charitable organizations that cover Annual Giving, Corporate Giving,
Special Events, Major Project Campaigns, Capital Campaigns and Planned Giving.
- Planning other organizations need more support. In this instance
we offer a planning process that involves the key members of the agency. Collectively, we
develop a step by step plan that will ensure that they utilize the most efficient and
effective fundraising processes and techniques in order to increase their chances of a
successful fundraising program.
- On-site assistance in some very special cases, we will offer
ongoing guidance and leadership to a specific fundraising program.
Finally, we have developed a number of additional specialized programs including
conducting Fundraising Feasibility Studies, Marketing Studies and Plans, and providing
training on securing event Sponsorship.
This is a Proven Process
The successes of the fundraising
and other programs is a result of years of experience by our founder implementing the Navigator
Corporate Philanthropy Program© in a variety of settings. As a Director of
Community Relations and Development, at Conestoga College for two years annual giving
increased from $45,000 to $500,000+.In addition, a $6.4 million capital campaign was
launched in six months which reached nearly $4 million including a $1,000,000 gift from
ATS (which is reportedly the largest cash gift to a community college in Canada).
WHCI's applied the Navigator Corporate Philanthropy Program© for the Kitchener -Waterloo Oktoberfest which attracted over
$500,000 in annual sponsorship and guided the organization to the most profitable year in
its history (second largest Oktoberfest tourism event in the world). The Navigator Corporate Philanthropy Program© was also used when the founder was the Area Coordinator, for
the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario. His duties increased annual donations to over
$1,000,000, which was a 53% increase over the previous years attainment.
